Wyman Piano Company announces the appointment of two new regional sales managers as it continues its launch of distribution of ORLA digital pianos in the USA.

Darald Hough, a keyboard sales veteran with extensive experience at both the wholesale and retail level, has joined the Wyman Piano Company as a regional sales manager. Darald grew up in a three-generation family piano business, working with his father Don Hough, Hough Piano & Organ, Salina, Kansas for a ten-year period from the mid-1980's to the mid-1990's.

For the past 15 years, Darald has served as district sales manager for the Roland Corporation in their Contemporary Keyboard division. During his tenure at Roland, he created valuable relationships with dealers throughout the entire Midwest, working closely with dealers and dealer salespeople to market and sell digital pianos, winning several sales performance awards along the way. Darald's abilities in product and sales training, as well as developing marketing strategies and sales promotions have been key to his success with dealers. In addition, his degree In Business Finance has enabled him to effectively counsel dealers regarding growing their business.

Darald will be serving Wyman/ORLA dealers in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana. Darald and his wife Jill have three children, two of which are at home. Darald and his family will continue to reside in Salina, Kansas.



Dan Yuter comes to Wyman as a seasoned veteran in the music industry. He started his career in the music business at age 16 working for various music and consumer electronics retailers. In 1989, he joined Panasonic Co. in their Consumer Electronics division. In 1994, Dan joined Technics Musical Instruments as southwest sales manager for 10 years. Dan helped develop and implement new sales and marketing programs for their digital piano, ensemble, keyboard, and organ lines. During his tenure at Technics, he earned their "Top Sales Manager of the Year" award four times.

In 2004, Dan joined Samick Music Company as district sales manager, playing a key role in the launch and market development of their Kohler digital piano line. He was named national sales manager for Kohler digital and Kurzweil Music Systems during Samick's ownership of Kurzweil.

Most recently Dan has been with the Roland Corporation as regional sales manager for eight western states. He was instrumental in the selling, marketing and training of Roland home digital piano and specialty keyboard products with dealers and dealer salespeople. Dan not only plays keyboards, but is an avid guitarist as well.

Dan brings to Wyman ORLA not only his knowledge of the industry and digital products, but also his excellent customer relationships built up over many years in the music and piano field," said Tim Laskey, Wyman president. Dan will be serving Wyman ORLA dealers in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Hawaii. He resides with his wife and two children in Carlsbad, California.
