Wyman Piano Company announces the appointment of two new Regional Sales Managers as it launches the distribution of ORLA digital pianos in the USA.

Lowell Simpson, music industry veteran with over 40 years experience at both the wholesale and retail level, has joined the Wyman Piano Co. as a Regional Sales Manager. Lowell has held prominent management positions at both Wurlitzer and Baldwin, and was a district sales manager for the Roland Corporation for 13 years. He spent a number of his 13 years at Wurlitzer working along side Tim Laskey, president and founder of Wyman Piano, and many of his 11 years with Baldwin working with George Benson, Wyman Piano national sales manager.

Lowell has also earned the reputation as being one of the industry's most dynamic and energetic presenters and sales trainers. He also possesses unique and highly professional-quality desktop publishing skills. For three years Lowell had a very successful marketing/consulting/desktop publishing business. His clients included Yamaha's Disklavier division as well as many top piano and organ retailers in the country.

Lowell will be serving dealers in W. Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, St. Louis, Kentucky, W. Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and Florida.

Doug Thiel began his 33-year career in the music business in 1976 with Bob Fletcher at Fletcher Music Centers in Florida, where he held a number of management positions and opened the first east coast of Florida locations for the company. He was also responsible for opening Fletcher Music's first non-Florida location in Asheville, North Carolina.

Doug has also held several management positions with Tune Town Keyboards, a Florida-based Steinway and Yamaha dealer. And, after serving as General Manager for both Bobb's Piano & Organs and Southeast Keyboards in Florida, he was appointed as District Sales Manager for the Roland Corporation in October, 2001. For the past 8 years, Doug has worked closely with dealers and dealer salespeople to hone their digital piano sales skills, as well as developing successful dealer marketing plans and sales promotions.

Doug will be serving dealers in New York, New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
